Installation Steps
1) Log in to Office 365 Admin Centre using Admin credentials at Office 365 Admin Centre Link.
2) Create an MS Exchange Distribution group or Security group containing entitled end business users who should have access to the Navatar outlook plugin within your company. This group will facilitate managing active Navatar outlook Plugin users and enabling the Sync engine via a configured Impersonating account.
3) Navigate to Settings > Integrated Apps in the Office 365 Admin Centre.
4) Click on the "Add-Ins" button located in the upper right corner.
5) Select "Deploy Add-In" and proceed by clicking "Next" in the dialog that appears.
6) In the subsequent dialog, choose the installation source for the Add-In:
B. Upload custom apps: This method is typically used for custom Enterprise Navatar Outlook plugin deployment.
1) Install the Add-In from a customized Add-In Manifest:
Download the Navatar_Manifest_Mass_Installation.xml file available at the end of this article.
2) Assign users to receive the Add-In in their mail accounts:
Select "Specific users/groups" and add RGES end users individually or in bulk using the Distribution/Security group created in Step 2.
Additionally, define the Add-In’s Deployment method:
Choose "Fixed" for the Add-In icon to be constantly displayed in the user’s MS Outlook ribbon.
Select "Available" for the RG Email Sidebar Add-In to be optionally available in their ribbon.
Opt for "Optional" to allow users to remove the Add-In.
Click "Deploy" at the bottom to initiate Add-In deployment for entitled users.
3) Monitor the deployment progress and confirm upon completion:
Observe the deployment progress screen and, upon completion, confirm deployment by clicking "Close" in the dialog.
The Add-In will be deployed for all assigned users within 12 hours or less. Ensure you have sufficient activated RG Email Sidebar licenses before users begin using the Add-In. Contact our CSM team directly for any license-related inquiries.
