Schedule Data Export

You will need to log into your Navatar system using the Admin login

Step 1: Login to your Navatar admin account. Click the gear icon to open the Setup page.

Step 2: In the Quick Find box (on the left side), type "Data Export" and select it from the search results. Click on "Schedule Export" to set up a recurring export on a weekly or monthly basis.

Step 4: Select the following options to ensure a complete export:

  • Export File Encoding: Unicode (UTF-8).

  • Include Images, Documents, and Attachments: Check the box.

  • Include Salesforce Files and Salesforce CRM Content Document Versions: Check the box.

  • Replace Carriage Returns with Spaces: Check the box.

Step 5: Set the Export Schedule:

  • Frequency: Weekly, recurs every Monday.

  • Start Date: January 6, 2025. (It is an Example)

  • End Date: December 29, 2025. (It is an Example)

  • Preferred Start Time: Based on your preference.

Step 6: In the Exported Data section, choose "Include All Objects" to back up all Navatar data. Click Save.

Step 7: A confirmation page will appear indicating your export has been queued or scheduled. The exported files will be available for download:

  • Location: On the same page.

  • Email Notification: A link will be sent to the admin account’s email address.

  • Availability: Files can be accessed for 48 hours.
