See how many distinct values your report returns with a unique count. Opportunity reports often list multiple opportunities with the same account. Add a unique count to the Account Name column to see how many individual account values appear in the report. Unique counts appear as grand totals at the bottom of the report and as subtotals for each group.
Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Group, Essentials, Professional, Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer editions.
How: To add a unique count of values for a field, in the column, click
| Show Unique Count.
Now that unique counts are generally available, these actions are supported.
Deploy unique counts from one Salesforce org to another as part of a managed or unmanaged package.
Work with unique counts in summary formulas, but not row-level formulas. To work with a unique count in a summary formula, select both a field like Lead Source and Unique from the summary menu and click Insert. Or type a field's developer name followed by :UNIQUE, such as LEAD_SOURCE:UNIQUE.
