This article guides users to log an email using the Navatar Outlook Connector by manually selecting or searching related records and saving the email to the CRM.
To save an email please follow the following steps:
Step 1: Open the email you want to save in Outlook and Open the Navatar Outlook Connector to save the email.
Step 2: When you open the Navatar Side Panel in Outlook, the system will scan the contents of the message that you are viewing, and cross reference them with the items that exist in your CRM. Any items it identifies will display in the side panel for you automatically. Once you click “save email” you can select if you’d like to tag the records to the email using the checkboxes on the right, as shown below.
Step 3: If you want to tag the email to a record that the system doesn’t pull up on its own, you can search for it using the search bar at the top of this panel, as shown below.
Step 4: Once you have selected the relevant records, click "Save." The email will be logged into Navatar, and a confirmation message will appear.
