Subscribe to a Dashboard

This article explains how users can subscribe to a dashboard in Salesforce to receive automatic email updates with the latest metrics and visualizations. It provides step-by-step instructions for accessing a dashboard, setting a subscription schedule, and managing notifications.

⚠️ Only users with the appropriate permissions can subscribe themselves or others to dashboards.

Step 1: Log in to Navatar

Use your user login credentials to log into your Navatar system.

Step 2: Access the Dashboards Tab

From the top navigation bar in Navatar, click the “Dashboards” tab to access available dashboards.

Step 3: Open the Dashboard You Want to Subscribe To

Browse or search for the dashboard you want to subscribe to. Click on the dashboard name to open it.

Step 4: Click “Subscribe”

Once the dashboard loads, click the “Subscribe” button in the top-right corner of the dashboard view.

Note: If you don’t see the Subscribe button, the dashboard may be stored in a private folder, or you may not have sufficient access.

Step 5: Configure Subscription Settings

A modal window will appear, allowing you to configure the following:

  • Frequency: Choose how often you want to receive dashboard updates (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).

  • Day and Time: Select the specific day(s) and time for delivery.

Step 6: Save the Subscription

Once preferences are set, click the “Save” button. You’ll start receiving email snapshots of the dashboard as per your selected schedule.

Managing or Unsubscribing from a Dashboard

To change or cancel your subscription:

  1. Return to the dashboard.

  1. Click the “Subscribe” button again.

  1. Choose “Edit Subscription” to update settings or “Unsubscribe” to stop receiving updates.
