Create Partial Copy Sandbox

This article walks Navatar admins through the process of creating a Partial Copy Sandbox by first setting up a sandbox template and then using it to create a new sandbox instance. It includes steps for naming, selecting objects, and assigning user access.

You will need to log into your Navatar system using the admin login

Step 1: Login into Navatar using admin login credentials. 

Step 2: Click the gear icon in the top right corner and then click on Setup.

Step 3: In the quick find box, search for and select “sandboxes”. Click on “Sandbox templates” tab and then click on New Sandbox template.

Step 4: Provide a name for the template, such as "Partial Copy." Ensure the Selected checkbox is marked to include all objects, then click Save.

Step 5: After saving the template, navigate to the Sandbox Tab and click on New Sandbox.

Step 6: Specify a name for the sandbox, add a description, and click Next in the Partial Sandbox column as highlighted.

Step 7: Choose the previously prepared template that you wish to use for creating this partial sandbox.

Step 8: Scroll down and click on the Create button located at the bottom to initiate the creation process. Ensure you have selected the “All Active Users” option.
