Edit (Add-Deactivate) Values in Picklist Field

You will need to log into your Navatar system using the Admin login

Step 1: Log in to your Navatar Admin Account. 

  

Step 2: On the navigation bar click the Object tab (Firm, Contact, Deal etc.) where you want to want to add the field. Click on the gear icon located at the top-right corner, then select "Edit Object" from the dropdown menu.

Step 3: Click “Fields & Relationships” and search and click on the field name where you want to add additional picklist values.

Step 4: Scroll down to the Values section and Click “New” to add a value.

Note: If you do not see the new button on the top, then it’s a Global picklist. Please click on the picklist value set button and then click on “New” button.

Step 6: Type or paste the values you want to add. The text in the next line will be a separate name value.

Step 7: Select the record type (in case of object with record types) you want to have this change on and click “Save”.  Once saved, verify the picklist value on the layout.

Please note picklist value addition will not update existing records; it will only apply to new data. To update old records, users will need to do so manually or reach out to [email protected] for bulk updates.

Deactivate Picklist Values  

Note: Follow the Steps above from 1 to 4 to navigate on the picklist field.

Step 1: To deactivate a picklist value, click “Deactivate” against the value as indicated below.
